International Space Station

Did anyone see the ISS on Friday or Saturday night?  My family and I viewed the Space Station on Friday night in Cincinnati near the Reds stadium.  I know many of you were at the ball field at St. Philip looking for the Space Station, did you see it?  I was also lucky enough to see it again on Saturday evening at the Roost with many of my students, past, present and future.
Leave a comment if you were able to see the ISS and let me know what you thought.
You will be able to view it again this week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  The times and directions are listed below.

We will be having our both first Spelling Test and Religion Test this Friday.

Each student has a Spelling list in the prongs of their take home folder.  All students do not have the same Spelling list, nor are all the Spelling words listed in the book list.   Therefore it is important for the students to bring home their folders every night to study.

If a student forgets to bring their Religion notes home, or needs to check a note, they are posted on the Homework/Notes page on the Blog.

WHAT A WONDERFUL FIRST DAY!!

Today we went over classroom rules and procedures.  We also took a look at our textbooks to see what we will be studying this year.

Class pictures will be posted as soon as all the Acceptable Use Policy papers are returned.

Return to our classroom blog often to see photos of our projects and activities.  As the year progresses you will also be able to view presentations we have created.

We are very excited Saint Philip has received Flip video cameras through the Coke Reward Points.  We will post videos as they are available.

Students have daily planners where they will write their homework each afternoon.  I will also list homework on the Blog, to use for reference.  Notes are also available to view for Social Studies, Science and Religion.
